Baku Summer Energy School 2026

CECECO participated as a knowledge partner in the Baku Summer Energy School 2026 (BSES2026) , organized by ADA University's Institute for Development and Diplomacy in partnership with the ADA University Foundation, SOCAR, bp Azerbaijan, GL Group, KOLIN, and CECECO.

The program brought together 53 participants from 14 countries for expert-led lectures and panel discussions on regional energy cooperation, emerging clean energy technologies, and energy diplomacy. CECECO contributed its expertise through several sessions addressing key developments in the regional and global energy landscape.

On July 9, Ms. Aysel Yagubova, Executive Director of CECECO, delivered a lecture titled “The Caspian Energy System: Actors, Projects, and Strategic Priorities,” covering regional energy dynamics, renewable energy, energy efficiency, connectivity, and clean energy innovation.

On July 13, Prof. Dr. Haitham Saad Mohamed Ramadan presented “Emerging Energy Technologies: Hydrogen, Storage, and Grid Evolution – Can Technology Solve Energy Constraints?” and participated in a panel discussion on the role of renewable systems in strengthening energy security. On July 14, Ms. Ellen Wasylina, President and Founder of the Trocadéro Forum Institute, delivered a session on “Energy Diplomacy,” highlighting the importance of strategic energy corridors, connectivity, and international partnerships.

Through its contribution to BSES2026, CECECO strengthened its cooperation with ADA University and IDD while supporting a platform for policymakers, academics, industry experts, and young professionals to exchange knowledge and explore the future of sustainable energy.
