Caspian Sea Challenges and Regional Cooperation

CECECO, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University , co-organized a roundtable discussion titled “Caspian Emergency: Causes, Consequences, and Solutions.”

The event brought together government representatives, experts, and academics to discuss the key challenges facing the Caspian Sea, including declining water levels, pollution, and the depletion of biological resources.

Discussions also examined the broader economic and regional implications of these challenges, including energy security and sustainable resource management. Participants emphasized the importance of coordinated regional action and strengthened cooperation among the Caspian littoral states and relevant stakeholders.
