CECECO Highlights Clean Energy Initiatives at Baku Climate Action Week 2026

The Economic Cooperation Organization Clean Energy Center (CECECO) is taking part in Baku Climate Action Week 2026, held from 7–11 September in Baku, Azerbaijan.

As part of the programme, Ms. Aysel Yagubova, Executive Director of CECECO, participated in Session 2, “Advancing the Green Energy Industry through Innovation, Digital Technologies, and Regional Collaboration.”

In her remarks, Ms. Yagubova highlighted CECECO’s role in supporting sustainable and clean energy development, emphasizing the importance of connecting knowledge, expertise, technology, skills, and investment across borders.

She highlighted key CECECO initiatives, including the CECECO Clean Energy Academy, CECECO Clean Energy Hackathon 2026, the Compendium of National Laws, Regulations and Policy Frameworks on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, the CECECO Hydrogen Knowledge Guide, and the regional webinar series.

The session brought together representatives from UNIDO, CECECO, SOCAR Green, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), and ADA University to discuss regional collaboration, innovation, digital technologies and opportunities for advancing the green energy industry.
