CECECO Signs MoU with IRENA

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Economic Cooperation Organization Clean Energy Center (CECECO) on the sidelines of the Baku Energy Forum 2026 . The agreement was signed by Mr. Francesco La Camera, Director-General of IRENA, and Ms. Aysel Yagubova, Executive Director of CECECO.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation in renewable energy and sustainable development, with a focus on energy infrastructure, green industrialization, capacity-building, and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

The partnership will support cooperation on renewable energy policies, institutional development, and regulatory frameworks, contributing to the advancement of clean energy and sustainable development across the region.
