ECO High-Level Dialogue on Environmental Cooperation

CECECO representatives participated in the First Meeting of the High-Level Dialogue Platform on Environmental Cooperation (HLDP) within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

The meeting launched a new consultation mechanism for ECO Member States to exchange views on shared environmental challenges, including pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change. Senior environment officials identified key areas for continued cooperation, including transboundary air pollution, climate adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and circular economy approaches .
