UNIDO Industrial Development Report 2026

CECECO Executive Director Ms. Aysel Yagubova participated in the regional presentation of the UNIDO Industrial Development Report 2026 , held on the sidelines of the Dubrovnik Forum.

The event marked the launch of the report's Eastern Europe and Central Asia regional chapter and examined the implications of global industrial megatrends for competitiveness and sustainable industrial development.

During the panel discussion, Ms. Yagubova highlighted Central Asia's significant renewable energy potential and its role in value creation and low-carbon industrialization. She also presented CECECO's work within the UNIDO Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centers (GN-SEC) , focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency, South–South cooperation, and regional knowledge exchange.
