About the Project
The Economic Cooperation Organization Clean Energy Center (CECECO) and the ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) will jointly organize a regional webinar on “Sustainable Transport and Electric Mobility in the ECO Region” on 28 September 2026 at 11:00 AM Baku time (UTC+4).
The webinar will focus on sustainable transport and electric mobility and provide an opportunity for policymakers, experts and practitioners to exchange perspectives on advancing cleaner transport systems in the ECO region.
The discussions will cover three main areas:
Decarbonizing Road Transport in the ECO Region: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities
Policies for the Electrification of Road Transport: A Global Perspective
Scaling Up Electric Vehicle Adoption in the ECO Region: A Regional Perspective
The webinar will also explore enabling policies, charging infrastructure, decarbonization strategies, investment needs, and opportunities for regional cooperation in the transport sector.
Representatives of government institutions, academia, industry, development partners, and professionals working in transport, energy, and climate are invited to participate.
