CECECO Activity Report April-June

From April to June 2026, the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Clean Energy Centre (CECECO) further strengthened its position as a regional hub for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development by reinforcing its organizational framework and broadening partnerships across the region and beyond.

During the reporting period, CECECO's legal foundation was further consolidated following approval of the Host Country Agreement. The First Meeting of the Executive Board of CECECO was convened with the attendance of representatives of all Signatory States.

The Centre also continued its active engagement in the Global Network of Regional Sustainable Energy Centres (GN-SEC). CECECO signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), paving the way for future result-oriented endeavors.

The Centre will continue to foster regional collaboration, expand strategic partnerships, encourage innovation and knowledge exchange, and support sustainable energy initiatives that contribute to a more resilient, energy-efficient, and interconnected ECO region.
